The 5th Management Meeting of the Erasmus+ MEDIA Project at Berlin University of Applied Sciences
From December 7 to 12, 2025, the 5th management meeting of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building MEDIA project was held in Berlin, the capital of Germany. The meeting was attended by the local coordinator of the MEDIA project at Vanadzor State University, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Hermine Grigoryan, and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics Heghine Ohanyan.
The meeting was hosted by FHM University of Applied Sciences and brought together partner universities of the project from Armenia, Moldova, and the European Union.
The purpose of the meeting, organized within the framework of the MEDIA project (No. 101082889), was to summarize the implementation of the project work packages, discuss current and upcoming challenges, and strengthen cooperation among partners aimed at improving the quality of digital and online education.
During the meeting, several key project work packages were presented and discussed, in particular:
- Within WP1, the frameworks developed to improve the quality of online education and the activities of MediaLabs were summarized;
- Within WP2, institutional and national methodologies for synchronous and asynchronous learning, codes of ethics, and proposals regarding quality standards were addressed;
- Within WP3, the application of Learning Analytics for the improvement of course quality was discussed;
- Within WP4, partner universities, including Vanadzor State University, presented the progress of implementing non-formal digital media education programs, student engagement, and the outcomes related to quality assurance of the courses.
Representatives of Vanadzor State University delivered a report on the implementation of the project, presenting the courses organized at the university, the experience of online teaching, participation indicators, as well as improvements made based on feedback received from participants.
Summarizing the results of the meeting, H. Grigoryan, the local coordinator of the MEDIA project, noted:
“The management meeting held in Berlin was an important milestone in the implementation of the project. The active participation of partner universities, including Vanadzor State University, demonstrates that the project has not only theoretical significance but also a tangible practical impact on the development of digital education.”
On the final day, the results related to project dissemination (WP5), quality assurance (WP6), as well as financial and management issues (WP7) were also discussed. As a result of joint efforts, actions for the coming months and the distribution of responsibilities were clearly defined.
