Final days of the summer school

 On June 26, participants of the summer school went on a professional trip to the Haghpat and Sanahin monastic complexes in the Lori region and stayed at the Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget hotel complex.

On June 27, the sixth and final day of the summer school, Anahit Voskanian, Advisor to the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy and member of the International Scientific and Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, delivered a presentation at the SMART CAFFE of Vanadzor State University.

She spoke about tourism opportunities in Armenia, particularly those of interest to the younger generation, and highlighted the key areas that have received increased attention from the Tourism Committee in recent years. She also discussed the development of joint regional tourism products in Armenia and Georgia, noting that the two countries are represented as a joint destination on the global tourism market, which holds important bilateral significance.

Participants of the summer school also gave presentations summarizing their project work, shared their perspectives, and reflected on their positive experiences and impressions of the places they had visited.

They expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the summer school, happily noting that the program gave them an opportunity to become acquainted with Armenian history and culture. In addition to gaining professional knowledge and experience, they get acquainted with new friends.

Some concluding notes were also delivered by Varduhi Hovsepyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, and Viktoria Harutyunyan, Head of the Chair of Economics, Law, and Management. Both emphasized that the summer school served as a successful example of inter-university collaboration.

The closing speech was delivered by Rustam Saakyan, Acting Rector of Vanadzor State University. He thanked all the participants, volunteers, and organizers for making the summer school informative, engaging, and meaningful, and expressed hope that this initiative would serve as a foundation for closer cooperation between the two universities in various fields.

The participants extended their appreciation to Rustam Saakyan, Acting Rector of Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan, and Tite Aroshidze, Rector of Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi, for the opportunity provided.

The program concluded with a formal certificate award ceremony.
