TEACHING PERSPECTIVES OF SPEECH FUNCTIONS (LISTENING, SPEAKING) OF GEORGIAN AS THE SECOND LANGUAGE

In the presented article actual problems and difficulties of teaching speech functions (listening, speaking) of Georgian language are discussed within the training program in Georgian language. The main focus lies on the experience of overcoming the problems and future perspectives. In this direction, we consider it important to specially process the phonemic structure of the Georgian language in relation to the native language of the language learner.
Based on multi-ethnicity, there has always been a need for communication in more than one language in Georgia. This is the situation today. Learning a language is a very long process and requires a lot of time, so when learning a foreign language, attention should be paid to the development of basic and academic language skills. Basic language competencies are formed in conversational practice in Georgian. These are skills that we use in everyday situations and relationships.
