Using Modern Digital Technologies in Teaching English

In today’s educational environment, digital technologies are becoming an integral part of foreign language teaching. This article examines the digital tools used in English language teaching and their impact on the development of students’ digital skills. Online platforms, applications, interactive resources and technologies, such as learning management systems (LMS), video conferencing, mobile applications and digital games, are studied. Special attention is paid to how these tools contribute to the development of students’ critical thinking, independence, collaboration and information literacy.
The aim of the study is to identify effective methods for integrating digital technologies into English language teaching and to determine their role in the development of students’ linguistic and digital competences.
The methodological result includes recommendations on the methodology for integrating digital technologies into the educational process for organizing students’ independent work during the foreign language teaching at the university.
