On May 23, Vanadzor State University held a recitationcompetition “Unfading Word ofPoetry”. 37 schoolchildrenfromVanadzor, Stepanavan, Lernapat, Lernahovit, Lorut, Gugarkschoolstookpartinthecompetition, 18 ofwhichwereawardeddiplomasandcertificates. The worksof Robert Rozhdestvensky, Alexander Pushkin, YevgenyYevtushenkoandotherfamousauthorswererecited. Membersofthecommissionthankedtheschoolchildrenandtheirteachersforinterestingperformancesandlovetowards Russian poetry.
