Certificate awarding ceremony for the Competitive Intelligence Program Participants within the frames of the Erasmus+ CONNECT project
Within the frames of the Erasmus+ “Connecting Universities-Industry through Smart Entrepreneurial Cooperation and Competitive Intelligence of Students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia”/ CONNECT project (https://connecterasmus.com/) “Competitive Intelligence Program” was held at VSU from 12 October to 12 December, 2022 which was comprised of the following three main courses: Course 1. Leadership and Art Skills, Course 2. Business Acceleration Course, and Course 3․ Digital Skills.
All three courses were held in a blended format (synchronously and asynchronously) which was a piloting course for all the EAP HEIs.
The courses were developed and held by 12 VSU academic staff who were trained at EU universities.
On 13 February 21 participants were awarded certificates at the newly established Smart Caffe.
The Vice-rector for scientific affairs Varduhi Hovsepyan congratulated the participants on obtaining knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship and emphasized that all participants are considered to be members of Smart Caffe and are greatly encouraged in developing their innovative business ideas. The local coordinator of the CONNECT project Gohar Dokholyan also stressed the active involvement and motivation of the CIP participants in idea generation and urged not to be discouraged and to strive for their goals and aspirations. CIP participants, headed by the Rector Prof. Saakyan, built up groups to develop their business ideas. The Rector and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences meet regularly to give mentorship and guidance to the students in their initiative.
During the on-site meetings the CIP participants had an opportunity to meet young entrepreneurs who shared their best practice, advice and successful stories.
The second round of the CIP will be held after 15 March, 2023.
