Recitation Contest dedicated to the 100th Birth Anniversary of Hovhannes Tumanyan
On May 12, a recitation contest dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of Hovhannes Tumanyan was held in the hall of Vanadzor State University.
The recitation contest was organized among the annual events held within the framework of the university-school relations. The event was attended by 51 pupils of 9-12 grades from different schools and colleges of Lori region.
During the contest, the works of the greatest Tumanyan were recited: poems, excerpts from narrative poems, ballads.
At the end of the contest, pupils with the highest results (based on the jury’s evaluations), became known.
11 students from Alaverdi, Akori, Arjut, Chochkan, Debed, Gugark, Dsegh, Lernapat and Vanadzor schools received certificates of appreciation.
Harutyunyan Marieta from Kurtan, Khachatryan Tigran from Spitak and Melkonyan Azganush from Lernapat took the third place.
Aram Aslanyan from Akori, Anahit Matinyan from Margahovit and Ernest Grigoryan from Vanadzor took the second place in the contest.
The winner of the recitation contest was Sargsyan Aghasi from Vardablur secondary school.
