Recitation Contest at Vanadzor State University

On November 29, a recitation contest dedicated to the poetry of Hamo Sahyan was held in the assembly hall of Vanadzor State University within the framework of the university-school relations.

The aim of the contest was to identify gifted schoolchildren, to stimulate their interest in literature and reading. The jury included Gayane Maumyan, the chairman of the commission, Candidate of Philological Sciences and an Associate Professor, Hermine Baburyan, Candidate of Philological Sciences and an Associate Professor, Elfik Zohrabyan, Candidate of Philological Sciences.

93 students from schools of Lori Marz participated in the recitation contest.

In the end, according to the criteria, the best reciters were selected. 15 students received letters of thanks.

As a result:

Milena Vardanyan from VSU College and Ernest Grigoryan from Vanadzor High School No. 11 took the third place.

Gor Mkrtchyan from Vanadzor Primary School No. 8 won the second place.

The winner of the competition was Armine Vardanyan from secondary school No. 8, Spitak.

Vanadzor State University congratulates the contestants and winners, wishing them new stages.
