New Year Meeting with Students of Lori Region
On December 15, members of the VSU Smart Cafe met with students from the Vanadzor branches of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and the National Agrarian University of Armenia. The main purpose of the meeting was to inform university students working in the region about the activities of the VSU Smart Cafe, created within the framework of the Erasmus+ program “Connecting Universities-Industry through Smart Entrepreneurial Cooperation and Competitive Intelligence of Students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia” (CONNECT).
Local project coordinator Gohar Dokholyan emphasized that Smart Caffe is a space for young people in the region interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. She also highlighted the “Competitive Knowledge Program” developed within the project, which was developed by 12 VSU employees who underwent training in educational institutions in Finland, Latvia, Romania and Bulgaria. The program consists of three main courses: Business Acceleration, Digital Skills and Leadership and Artistic Skills.
At the end of the event, Hrayr Papoyan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences awarded certificates of participation to 13 participants of the “Competitive Knowledge Program” and 5 Smart Cafe volunteers.
