Meeting of the Rector of Vanadzor State University with the Students from Artsakh

On October 17, a meeting was held at Vanadzor State University’s Smart Cafe. VSU Rector Rustam Saakyan, deans, heads of the educational process management departments had a discussion with 28 Artsakh students who have already restarted their studies at the university. The meeting’s primary goal was to represent the process for awarding scholarships to compensate students, who were forcibly removed from Nagorno Karabakh, for their tuition, either fully or partially, by the RA Government. Additionally, R. Saakyan discussed how to guarantee the attendance of the students in the mid-term exams and addressed questions of their admittance and education for the 2023–2024 academic year.

Similar meetings will be regular, as according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the process of enrolling forcibly displaced students from Nagorno-Karabakh in the relevant courses in the given specialty (educational program) continues.
