“France in Armenian reality”

On March 27, the VSU “Center of Culture” organized an event entitled “France in the Armenian reality” dedicated to the International Day of Francophonie. The attendees of the event were mentally transported to one of the most famous cafes in Paris, where such famous Armenian people as Michel Legrand, Jean Carzou, Rosy Armen, Charles Aznavour were present.

On the initiative of the “Center of Culture”, the students of the university prepared beautiful songs and dances representing the best of France. The students also presented traditional French dishes, treated the attendees with their own handmade croissants and pancakes.

Working language of the event was French, accompanied by an Armenian translation. During the event, the rich culture of France was showcased in a variety of ways.

The International Day of Francophonie unites 320 million French speakers, provides an opportunity to celebrate solidarity and the desire to live and create.
