“Fair of Professions” at Vanadzor State University
On November 22, already traditional “Professionals’ Fair” event took place at VSU.
The event, which aimed at contributing to the strengthening of the university-school relation, professional orientation of students, was initiated by Research, Innovation and Cooperation Department of the university.
More than 250 pupils from Vanadzor and Lori Region participated in event.
At the beginning of the event Rustam Saakyan, Rector of the university, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Maria Brutyan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Hrayr Papoyan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, and Heghine Ohanyan, Head of the Department of Informatics and Mathematics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, gave welcome speeches.
During the event, each specialty was represented with a booth made up of demonstration materials illustrating features of the specialties and admission conditions in a unique form. Pupils also had the opportunity to meet the lecturers and students of the university and got answers to their questions.
The event was accompanied by artistic numbers of VSU “Biaina” Choir, “Adelas” Dance Group and Vanadzor Sports School acrobatic trio.
