Elfik Zohrabyan’s Fairy Tale “The Crystal Man” won the Mark Twain Award in the USA

The Fairy Tale Writer, Dramatist Elfik Zohrabyan’s fairy tale “The Crystal Man” won a prize in the category of “Children’s Books” at the Mark Twain International Literary Competition, which took place in Montreal.

The participating countries of the literary competition were France, Germany, Belarus, USA, Russia, Switzerland, Canada, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Romania, Poland, etc.

The lecturer of VSU, the storyteller from Vanadzor received an invitation to become a member of the North American Writers’ Union. Elfik Zohrabyan also participated in the “William Saroyan and Art” international conference held at the RA National Academy of Sciences, which was dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birthof the world-famous writer.

More than thirty scientific reports honoring William Saroyan’s creative and literary legacy were given throughout the conference. “The Sufferings of Small Nations” was the report that VSU lecturer E. Zohrabyan presented.
