Continuous Meetings within the framework of University-Employer Cooperation

The second meeting, organized within the framework of university-employer cooperation, took place at SMART Caffe of Vanadzor State University. The purpose of the meeting-discussion was to align the educational programs and curricula with the requirements of the labor market.

It has been planned to create a university-employer platform that will increase interest towards natural and exact subjects and contribute to the development of the region.

During the meeting, a number of problems were raised by the employers, in particular, the inconsistency of education with the work carried out in practice, the problem of equipping laboratories with modern equipment, etc.

As a result of the meeting it was suggested to strengthen and expand cooperation between the University and employers and assist in the process of updating vocational education programmes.
