The first Graduates of the Master’s Academic Program in the Faculty of Social Sciences

On April 3, in the hall of Vanadzor State University, the first graduates of the master’s academic program of the full-time study system of the Faculty of Social Sciences got the master’s degree. Five students of the “School Pedagogy and Methodology” specialty, seven students of the “Physical Education and Sports Training” specialty received diplomas, three of the students graduated with honors.

Rustam Saakyan, Rector of Vanadzor State University, Hrayr Papoyan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Lilit Baghdasaryan, Head of the Chair of Pedagogy and Psychology, Arman Barseghyan, Head of the Chair of Arts and Sports welcomed and congratulated the graduates. In their speeches, they emphasized that the 1.5-year master’s academic program is not inferior to the 2-year educational program, but is also more attractive and prospective from the students’ perspective. They expressed hope that the awarded diplomas will serve their purpose and Vanadzor State University graduates will take their rightful place in the labor market.
