The Student of the Faculty of Humanities won a Bronze Medal in World Karate Championship

The Student of the Faculty of Humanities won a Bronze Medal in World Karate Championship.

On December 16, Rustam Saakyan, Rector of VSU had a meeting with Gevorg Nerkaryan, a first-year student of the “English Language and Literature”specialty and Mariya Brutyan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.

Gevorg Nerkaryan recently won the third place at the World Karate Championship in Poland, and the Rector of the university congratulated the sportsman on his accomplishment. The gifted athlete received a motivational award and a souvenir from the university. One wish: consistent success in each of my chosen fields.

Since the age of ten, Gevorg Nerkaryan has been a karate practitioner. Although he had prior experience competing in international tournaments, this was his first time taking part in a championship of this size.

The lecturers and students of Vanadzor State University wish Gevorg Nerkaryan the best of luck in his sporting endeavors.
